Robinho was recently called up by Scolari to play for the next matches of Brazil as a preparation for the 2014 World Cup and Brazil are schedules to play against Honduras on Saturday but he is now facing trouble as he was denied entry into the country by immigration officials.
Having Stephan El Shaarawy injured, Robinho is now becoming a regular player for the Italian side and Scolari has shown interested in adding him to the Brazil squad which earned him a recall to play with the team he had not appeared since 2012.
It now remains unclear if Robinho will be playing for the Brazilian team and the Chelsea playmaker Willian is also going through similar problems.
When Scolari was asked why he decided to call up Robinho after being absent for that period of time he responded by saying:
” Scolari said, “and he’s experienced. He’s played in two World Cups and can operate in any of the attacking positions. I like the joy he brings to the game, and we just need to see now how he fits in with the spirit of this squad.”
Despite being a fairly regular player in Ac.Milan it was the decision of Diego Costa to represent Spain and not Brazil that made Scolari call up Robinho.
The shortlist of Scolari in the attacking department consists of: Robinho, Neymar, Willian, Hulk and Bernard as the confirmed attackers that Brazil will be relying on for their goals on the upcoming friendly matches.
Julio Cesar and Victor will be the goalkeepers travelling with the squad meanwhile the confirmed defenders are: David Luiz, Dante, Maxwell, Marcelo, Silva, Maicon and Alves.
Lucas Leiva, Hernanes, Ramires, Paulinho, Oscar and Luis Gustavo are the players included in Scolari’s list of midfielders with Ricardo Kaka not being added despite rumors emerging suggesting the Ac.Milan player to make his return to the Brazilian squad.
