The future of Robinho is consistently being linked with a move away from Ac.Milan as the Brazilian player could never really manage to make himself being felt by his teammates or managers. With a price tag of €18 million, Robinho arrived to the Italian club from Manchester City but his time at San Siro is reaching its end as there are a number of clubs that are willing to sign him and the head coach of Ac.Milan Filippo Inzaghi could use the cash injection to strengthen other areas of the squad.
During the past few seasons Ac.Milan has been going through a major renovation with senior and experienced players leaving the Italian club while some younger ones have been added to the team but things have not been going smooth for the club with a number of managers seeing their way out of San Siro after not being able to pick up positive results.
Even though the Italian season has not started Filippo Inzaghi is already been heavily criticized after losing against Manchester City, Liverpool and Olympiakos in the International Champions Cup. Robinho was not featured in either of those matches and this puts into question if the Brazilian attacker is in the plans of the new coach.
Robinho, Al-Ahli, Orlando City, Al Jazira are some of the latest clubs that have been in contact with the agent of the Brazilian player as they are trying to sign him before the conclusion of the summer transfer window.
Marisa Ramos is the agent of Robinho and she has revealed a few details concerning the future of her client, Robinho as she said: “Yes, Santos is certainly a possibility for Robinho. However, we are waiting, as nothing has been decided or completed. We are evaluating every hypothesis.
“At the moment, nothing has been sorted out for Robinho’s new club. There has been important progress and now we are down to details. There is a great chance Robinho could return to Santos. We are analyzing everything calmly, considering the financial and sporting aspects, plus obviously the love Robinho has for Santos. I have always made it clear we were analyzing every possibility without ruling anything out.”
